[Pro] Several queries - Mootools and Alignment issues.

Hi again,

Hows it going?

I’ve nearly finished my portfolio website but am just having a few last minute niggles, if anyone has any advice or pointers I’d be most grateful.

  • Number one.

I’d like the alignment on each page to end where the phone number does, as the 3rd row of pictures are on this page -
http://www.iamwillvincent.co.uk/Work/iamwill’swork..html

when the user scrolls down to see the fourth row, the bottom of the 2 remaining pictures sits just above the phone number. This is common over pretty much every page on the site but I’d like to make that bottom alignment to number universal.

I tried to achieve it using a blank white graphic box, which works in freeways preview but not within a browser.

  • Number two.

On the dribble page - http://www.iamwillvincent.co.uk/Dribble/index.html
each thumbnail has a Moo slimbox action attached to it to show the original image. The images when clicked in preview upon centered horizontally and vertically, for some reason on the html version the images open on a fair way down the page on the left hand side, with about half the image chopped off.

  • Number three.

I’d like the whole site to be centered in browser as shown here; http://www.iamwillvincent.co.uk/Freeway%20talk%20screengrab.png -

This worked when I had the menu bar at the side set to absolute, but now it’s been set to fixed in window so it floats, the menu bar seems determined to stay on the left hand side.

If anyone has any answers at all i’d be most grateful, and any general feedback on the site for that matter!

Cheers,

Will.

Oop!
One last thing…
on the linkage page - http://www.iamwillvincent.co.uk/Linkage/index.html
some very strange formatting has occured, that doesn’t seem to want to change no matter what I do to it, is this a bug in freeway?

Be very careful about using characters like apostrophes in file names - don’t do it! Instead use underscores and hyphens. Apostrophes and similar are not valid characters and may well trip up browsers/servers. Also there should only be one full stop before the file suffix.

on the linkage page…

Change it to HTML text and it should be fine.
