Please can anyone help with this, I am building various sites and have the same problem on all, this is the graphic boxes that I create have a square shadow behind blocking vision of the background (see Loading...).
The problem is also on the slideshow used, the first slide is good but the following three have the box issue.
Also, the three boxes on left have less of an issue than the three on the right and they all have the same settings and the three on the right were duplicated from ones on the left???
Regards
Steve
If they are graphic boxes, you should make them all pngs - goto the inspector pallette and change from jpeg to png with Millions of colors.
This goes for all the other boxes on the page too. Hope this sorts it

Not sure why the colour would change without looking at the FW document itself.
Does anyone else here have an inkling?

Any other insights as to why the drop shadows are not transparent?

As long as the boxes are layers, png’s with the colours set to millions then the shadows should be transparent (I would have thought).
I’m going to build a slideshow to see if I can replicate your problem.

I have a slideshow running. You must make sure all of the images in the slideshow are png’s set to millions. I got the same problem when they were jpegs.

All cured thanks to you, just not set to millions, simple as that (or me), just a graphics man playing at being a web site builder.
Thanks once again!!!

as long as we do not know on how you build your graphics, it`s nerly impossible to have a look on.
In my quick example, I`ve stolen your png without the shadow and made one using the inspector palette - means as Nathan said (and I agree 100%) - it has to work.
The second one is a result of overdosing the fillmaster-action because I do not know actually how to make reliefs in freeway and with what action but it comes closer to a desasterous result.
Now if you could give a bit more background I`m sure there could be more help. And as a sidestep - one reason I love to design in photoshop - freeway makes an excellent job in code - but I love to seperate both.
