[Pro] Shopping Cart

Hello Again,

Anyone setup an E-Commerce site design 100% in FW Pro and using another Shopping cart services other then “Mal’s e-commerce?”

I am looking for a shopping cart that is easy and will adopt well with my design pages done in FW Pro.

I gave Mal’s Pro (Paying for Service) a try and not too please with the cart. Yet, I am hoping there is another shopping cart services that works with FW Pro since Mal’s does have a limit how many products can be sold within a day - using their paying services.

My hopes is design my store front in FW Pro with my products within the design and just add the purchase link to the cart.

Thanks!!

Hi Louis,

I haven’t tried any other shopping carts, although I did look into a
few:-) I use Mals-e.com store for this site:

http://www.cotswoldengineeringsupplies.co.uk/

As you can see it has thousands of products (over 4000 at the last
count) all served by php from a MySQL database (hosted by Have-Host)

All the front end you see is 100% Freeway, although I don’t use the
Freeway Shop actions, I have used them in a former incarnation of the
site.

As to the limit to the number of sales in a day on Mal’s, this only
applies to downloads, so you can sell as many products as you like.

Good luck with the design of your store, any problems come back and
ask!!

Regards,

Steve.

I’ve used Mals and 2checkout.com. I prefer 2checkout.com, but the fees can be a pretty high percentage of your sales, depending on how much you are selling things for. All in all, without a designated Merchant Gateway, I find that paypal and/or Google Checkout have the best rates. It’s possible to set up Carts/Buttons/Links/APIs for both, which you can fully integrate into Freeway. Hope this helps.
