As you can see, I’ve imported the gallery into my site using an iFrame action. As a result, when you click on the photos to see them enlarged, the enlarged photo appears to be limited to size of my iFrame box. Is there a work around so that the pictures will enlarge to a much ‘larger’ size?
Also. . . in Showcase, under the Output tab in the inspector pallet, what does checking the Pass-through box accomplish?

No the content that is linked to in the iFrame will always be constrained by the iFrame.
I can see why - layout reasons - that you wanted to do it this way but I think that if you want this to work correctly you should just accept the fact that some pages content is greater than others and put the gallery straight onto the FW page.
The Pass-through box does as it does in FW itself. It will display the large image as original ie unaffected by any settings for compression etc that you can use within Showcase itself.
So if you have spent some time preparing your images in PShop as you want them to appear on the web then use that setting. Otherwise set your file output type, quality, progressive or not etc. in Showcase’s Output settings (for the large images)
