Showcase runs on your Mac to build the gallery, so it would not have access to any content you or your client added using WebYep. You could run them side-by-side, I suppose, but you would not be able to alter the gallery contents using WebYep if that gallery was based on Showcase.
I know you can have a WebYep gallery and the thumbnails open up on top of the darkened screen and you flick through them one by one, but is there any way of making this ‘flick-through’ automatic, like the Showcase slideshow?
This could probably help Worm’s problem also.

nope the two aren’t compatible for exactly the reason Walter mentioned.
the lightbox controls are your best bet if either of the two compatible lightbox plugins allow for an automatic forward then yes that could work
