[Pro] Showcase Gallery

I have been using Freeway Pro and Showcase sometime. Great application.

However, the gallery I just inserted in Freeway - images 6 across - 4 down looks ok when set up, but when you view the page and gallery in Preview or html browser from my hard drive they all appear in a one column down - 24 images down the page not going across. Not 6 across! What am I doing wrong?

Can we see it online somewhere - it sounds like there is a CSS file missing. How are you uploading.

I will see what I can do about uploading. In the meantime I notice that when I upload the web site to my hard drive that it does not create a showcase file for this item. All my other showcase have something like this: atseaphotos_item1_fwShowcase.css

But no file exists for this new showcase. It has not created this file for some reason - but it has included the pictures in the web page under each other. So the showcase css file is not being created for some reason.

I have managed to upload the page (pictures missing).

http://www.ranwriters.com/test.html

You will notice pictures run down the page.

The front page normally looks like this:

http://www.ranwriters.com

Hi I. too am new to this rather good application.
I am having difficulty in editing captions, is there someway of editing the text i.e. font, size etc. Is there anyway of controlling the text wrap?

Did you use an FTP app to upload rather than the built-in FW upload facility?

It may just be that you are not transferring all the necessary files.

Let FW handle the upload - it knows best what has changed and what files are required.

Alternatively it might be worth you creating a new Site Folder (in the Finder) and then in FW File>Document Setup choose your new site folder to publish into.

Under the Document Tab with File>Document Setup open click the select button half way down and navigate to the new Site Folder you created in the Finder. Make sure that you have named it meaningfully and you have put it in a sensible place where you can keep track of it.

Once the new Site Folder is selected then Publish your Site using File>Publish Site.

Now preview your pages and see if all is well with the world. (BTW this process does not affect the files on your server in any way)
