[Pro] simple CAROUSLE action Question

HI,

if I have 5 slides in my carousel and I DO NOT want #3 to show up on the website for a few days, how do I temp shut it off?

Do I have to remove the carousel action from that particular pane and put it back when I want it to show or is there an easier way?

I clicked on frame and unclicked PUBLISh but this seemed to mess things up.

Thanks,

Barry

Drag the panes you don’t want to show to the top of the screen above the page (they’ll still publish, but they won’t be visible). Then remove the Carousel Pane Action from them. You can put it back quickly and easily later when you want them to appear.

Hey Walt, All my panes (except the main one) are already above the top of the page. The main one is on the page.

So i guess I just have to remove the action from a pane to not show, and put back when I want.

Yes, as long as it is above the page. The three other sides may also be used for stashing panes, but they are only hidden by the effect if it is applied.

I need some freeway 101…I didn’t know this little tidbit about hiding things above the page. Cool.

Note that if you are using a CSS-positioned layout (Freeway’s default), they are not hidden from Google or screen readers. Or anyone who knows to read the source.
