Hi can someone help. I have constructed a simple gallery with the show/hide layer action. All works well with things fading from one image to the other, the images are set to hidden on page load and all are the same size but I want the first image to fade in with when the page loads. I cannot have an image at the back of the stack as it appears every time the images fade from one to the other. My only option at the moment is to have the gallery area blank until you click on a thumbnail image.
It seems very difficult to achieve this very fundamental standard based action in freeway. Other posts dated 2008 have been complaining about this and it still does not seem to have been sorted.

Is your whole page using the Sequence Timer action? My Target Show/Hide
settings for the first slide are:
Hidden
Sticky
Fade
Duration: 1
Target: Indigo
Target #: 1

Thanks for the reply. My gallery and pages work a bit differently then the ones on the site above, it’s more of a thumbnail gallery than a slideshow.
I have a workaround that will do for the moment. I load a duplicate of the first image in the gallery with the whole page over 1.5 sec. with the transition FX action. It is grouped in a layer that is the size of the whole page but combined with the image as a png to keep the other areas transparent. In the second part of the FX action I have got the image to fade out on a mouse over of the whole combined image, so as a view goes to move towards the thumbnail gallery they already initiate the mouse over getting rid of the first image and going onto the thumbnail gallery.
