[Pro] Simple Site Search Tutorial?

Is there a tutorial for how to use the new Simple Site Search action in Freeway 5.5?

The pdf file is in the FW 5.4 download package

Here’s a link just in case

Thanks… I must be missing something. When I get to the ‘Creating a search results area’ (pg. 21), after drawing the (Simple Site Search action) item on the page, it does not display the dummy text inside as the pdf explains. I’ve followed the instructions step-by-step, but I keep running into a snag at this step… bummer. Not sure why.

Have you added your Web address to the Web Address field (this won’t be a requirement in the full version).

Yes, I added my web address using Document Setup. Speaking of the ‘full version,’ I have purchased FW 5.5, is there a way to remove the opening splash screen that always comes up whenever I open Freeway?

I think I may have figured out what was causing the snag. When I first created a new page for the search results, I simply duplicated an existing page within my site. For whatever reason, I could not get the Simple Site Search action to work on that page. But after creating a brand new page, everything worked. The new search results page does not “match” my other pages, but at least everything is working.
