I upgraded to pro 7 from express 6. I can’t seem to get an automatic slide show to work. I did it fine in express. I keep getting this mysterious brown rectangle appearing in between the images when I preview. Does anybody know what this is and how to make it stop?

Not without seeing an online example.
How did you create the slide show?

Hi David,
Thank you for the reply. I’m not sure what you mean by an online example. I haven’t uploaded it because I can’t get it to work.
I used the target show/hide layer action together with the sequence timer and target item actions.
Thanks,
Fay

Any link that begins with file:/// will only work from YOUR Mac.

I haven’t uploaded it because I can’t get it to work.
But if you upload it then we might be able to see why it doesn’t work.

I don’t understand. I wouldn’t want to upload something that doesn’t work. Cut me some slack here I’m not that technical.

You could upload it to a sub folder of your existing site if you don’t want to overwrite what you have already.
So in your Express doc you could create a sub folder ie ‘yoursite.com/testfolder ’ but not actually create any pages in there.
If you then upload from Express the testfolder will be created on the server.
Now in your 7Pro doc change the upload path to ‘yoursite.com/testfolder ’
Now when you upload the Pro doc all the files/pages will go in the testfolder
One thing to watch - does your Express Doc use the same Site Folder on your Mac as the Pro Doc. You want to change that if they do.

Thank you Dave. I am going to wait on this. My husband is going to see if he can help me today. Maybe he can follow your instructions. I confess I’m a bit unsure about this. Fay
