[Pro] Slideshow and mobiles

Hello,

Has anyone set up a Showcase slideshow on a mobile responsive site?
Normal images will have width at Fixed% and height at Flexible, but this doesn’t work with a slideshow, even when set to’Pass through’.
Slideshows are pretty standard these days, so something ought to work. Any ideas?

I’ve been using AmazingSlider. OwlSlider & WOWslider are also a good options. All three are responsive.

Someone else more knowledgeable than I will have to help you answer your question more specifically about Showcase. I believe if the width must be fixed it is a no-go for responsive. Responsive layouts depend on flexible-width layout – that’s what makes it responsive.

Doty is correct on this one – Showcase is incapable of creating flexible, responsive-friendly, galleries. The options she listed are great, but I’d add Exhibeo to that list (which I think is the successor to Showcase).

Thank you to Doty and Caleb Grove for your replies. With 10.6.8 I’m too old for Exhibeo but one of the others should do the business.
