[Pro] Solution for fixed position header taking up too much space on smartphones

Is there an SEO (or any other hidden problem) with having duplicate identical navigation menus on each site page?

I found that my fixed in window header bar that works nicely on tablets and computers takes up too much room on a smartphone. So I created a duplicate header with absolute positioning plus a sticker action.

The fixed window header displays at mid and larger viewport widths and the absolute with sticker header displays at smartphone viewport widths. On the latter, when one scrolls up the header scrolls out of view, sticking so that the navigation portion remains in view. (see example)

(FYI I attempted a simpler solution using a single navigation menu by applying the sticker action to the header layer, and changing the fixed setting to absolute for smartphone viewports, hoping the action wouldn’t work at all when the layer it was attached to had a fixed in window setting. But, alas, it not only worked as intended when the layer was set to absolute, but worked not as intended when the layer was set to fixed in window.)

Navigation design is following the lead of the blog page, which is by far the most read page of the site, and is only minimally editable. It does not use a hamburger. It uses the precise drop-down menu I’ve copied for the rest of the site.
