[Pro] Squarespace's Gallery App

Does anyone know what app Squarespace.com uses for it’s gallery creation? It is quite clean and I wonder if it is available and if it can be integrated into a freeway file?

Do you have an example we can see?

First, really seriously great photography. Love it! Film or digital?

Second, this slideshow seems to be handmade, and it’s pretty clever how everything is all in one page.

You might try the Showcase tool that’s built in to Freeway Pro 5.6, it’s more of a traditional “lightbox” layout than this, but you might like it as well. You could also try my ScriptyFader Action to navigate between images. I don’t know of any existing Actions that could exactly copy this layout on Squarespace, though.

Hi Walter-

Thanks for the compliments! Laurie’s garden was shot last month using a 10 yr old Kodak Digital Back on a Mamiya 645. The Street is all plus and tri-x shot with my nikon and a 24mm. Most of these images are reproductions of the original silver print, most of them made in the 80’s and 90’s.

I have used showcase extensively, and also the airtight viewers that come with Lightroom 3. I will check out scriptyfader.

Thanks!

I can’t add any more to Walter’s reply. Thanks for sharing it though – it’s an interesting approach.
