[Pro] Stock soundtracks?

I have a client who wants to add a stock music soundtrack to their website. Can anyone recommend a good stock soundtrack source?

And while we’re on the subject does Freeway Pro have an action that will enable me to insert a soundtrack and still provide the viewer with audio controls?

You can make some stunning original soundtracks with GarageBand’s loops, and Apple has another app called SoundTrack Pro (I believe it’s been folded into FInalCut Pro now) that will algorithmically “write” original music for you. You tell it the time to fill, and set some settings for mood and tempo, and it magically fills that time with sounds.

Walter

I’m almost as bad at writing music as I am at programming.

You don’t really have to be able to write music to use the tools that Walter describes. You can just drag and drop loops to get the sound and feel that you want. I suggest that you experiment with it. You already have the software.

Managed to pick this up free from the App Store when on special:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/baboom-beats/id593537493?mt=12

Might be worth keeping an eye on for another offer.

All the best

There is also SoundFire Pro Royalty Free Music & Soundtrack Software - Smartsound which also edits itself from the time parameters you give it. It edits good quality prerecorded tracks that you can purchase individually from their oniine store.
