[Pro] strange downward gliding of 3 objects

Hi,
This i cannot explain, happens in Mac-FFOX, Mac-Safari; not in PC-FFOX.

2 gliding objects are HTML-items superimposed
(should a menustrip be an in-box item, no?!):
1 object also expands downwards, but was done in Photoshop!

see screendump here, with description:

testpage as is - here:

Any advice is very welcome!

It seems to be an issue with my rather new iMac i3, OS 10.6.4 and or the browsers,
because both FFOX (the latest) AND Safari display the page in a strange way (with downward “gliding” objets.) I cleared the caches: no change.

However,
everything is ok on Win7 PC, FFOX and IE, and
everything is ok on Mac G4, Safari and Camino.

For now I’ll just have to ignore this strange behaviour,

I’d like to add that now i’m using Camino 2.0.6 , which display everything just fine!

I think we need a little more information. How was the site put together? Tables? Layers? Inline box model?

It looks like you have lots of separate boxes that aren’t playing well together.

Thank you Bob,

but i have NO clue what and why.

At one point FRW 5.5.2 just collapsed with my page before my eyes (no kidding!),

I had to reconstruct the whole thing from scratch - and now the browsers display yhe page alright,

BUT i swear, i did everything the same.

In the meantime i have run into a more principle problem,
=> Master-pages how /much?

PS: what is your latest site to show us, if you like ?
