I just stumbled upon what I think is a pretty significant problem. I wanted to select the text on this page to copy and paste and send in an email. I often use the “reader” functionality build into Safari for this. But, the little reader icon was not present. No problem, I thought, I’ll just send it to Instapaper. But to my great surprise, Instapaper recorded NO text on my home page.
I double checked my FreeWay document and indeed all the text on the page is in an html box except for the banner text at the top. Why is the browser not seeing it that way?
I don’t know anything about Instapaper but your text is certainly Html and copyable - I have just done it!
As far as Reader goes - I believe that there has to be a certain amount of text on the page before the Reader functionality kicks in. Just don’t know how much that equates to.
Hmmm… So maybe there isn’t a problem? The Instapaper thing is stumping me though. And I didn’t know about the minimum text deal for Reader on Safari.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, there is a companion app. The great thing is it strips all the advertising and flash nuttiness and leaves you with clean text and appropriate pictures. And, you can read it offline on your iOS device and use no data at all. You can integrate it with Twitter and send your articles there for later reading when you have time. I love it! That has nothing to do with FreeWay pro, but I do sometimes use if for researching web design stuff. Does that count?
