[Pro] Submit button disabled on PHP feedback form

Hi there,

I’m updating a website and can’t work out why the the submit button on the PHP feedback form is not working. I have the address pointing to the email related to the website and have set up the error and thank you pages but when I test the submit button nothing happens.

Works for me

One thing you need to be careful about is how you add your suggestion text.

In your form you have the value of the name field as “Your Name” - this is incorrect and will always submit with that value.

Same applies for the other fields.

If you want default text to appear then it should only be added in the Placeholder section and then when your visitor clicks to add their info the placeholder text disappears.

Hi Dave,

I changed the form and now using the ‘Send Form’ action from Caleb’s Backdraft template.

I’m aware of the Placeholder section and have used this for other sites but for some strange reason it is not appearing in the inspector panel. It may be because the doc was originally created in Freeway 5 but I opened it today in Freeway 6 and seems to be causing issues with the doc. It might be why the original contact form wasn’t working too.

Any suggestions where to add Placeholder text if it doesn’t exist in the Inspector panel?

Is your page set as Html5 - if not doing that should be enough to get the option to appear.
