I was redoing a table with graphics in the cells, getting them all the same size. I have come to the point where the spacing bar between cells will not move over, despite all the graphics being the same width. This leaves an extra 10px gap between this column and the next.
I have tried “scale and trim” when clicking on individual graphics. Some of the graphics were the 10 pixels to wide and I reduced them. Something is preventing the reduction of the column width. Could the graphics original size be effecting this?
Check that you have not applied Padding or Margin to the graphic box.
Also check in the inspector that the graphic boxes are actually the same size (width?). You wont get the same result with 2 boxes of different dimensions and the same graphic using Scale & Trim
All pictures are same width and height - 175 X 264.
Notice the first column has 10 extra pixels width. Third column has same problem with 5 extra pixels.
This is strange, gone back into Freeway and the inspector says they are both 175 X 264. Viewed source code in Safari and you are correct they are showing there with the larger widths. Now that I know the two culprits I can fix it, Thanks David.
But it still doesn’t explain Freeway telling me they are another size. That is what drove me crazy. I may have graphic>scaled to box, but that hasn’t caused problems before.
