I have a fairly long table (187 rows) I use on a webpage. Suddenly when trying to edit the text in any row, the curser does not show up nor does highlighted text. I can click to place the curser and will really be there and respond to keystrokes but I just can’t see it, same goes for highlighting text, it gets selected but I can’t see that has. When published the webpage looks and acts fine. Any ideas would appreciated!
Check to see that you have made the page tall enough to hold this table. (Use the Page Inspector and set the height to some truly ridiculous height, like 3700 px or something like that. Some versions of Freeway (I’m thinking back in the 3.5 or 4 days) had performance problems with really tall pages, what you’re describing doesn’t sound like that, but it may be something you want to tease out. If you can, cut your document down to a single page (make a duplicate, and delete all the pages except your really tall one) and send it to support(a)softpress.com for dissection. You may have found a new bug!

Cool! You solved it! I had the page set to 32000px and the table is 23000px when I made the page size just larger than the table it all worked fine again. Thanks Walter!
Often I have problems with text disappearing along with the cursor and
everything else, even in the middle of typing. Publishing (command-p) makes
everything visible again. Until next time.

Wow that’s a fairly large table you have there. If you ever get fed up of manually inserting and updating this in Freeway let me know as I’ve written both Actions and PHP includes in the past that take CSV data from a spreadsheet and create these pages automatically.

If possible I would be very interested in this too. Right now I don’t do it exactly for the reason you say. It takes a lot of time to build and even more to maintain.
