In many instances captions beneath photos are losing the first word while in FW. I can actually just scroll within FW to move caption out of view and when I scroll back down maybe the first word is like a subscript or gone completely. I can double click within the text box to bring it back into view. When I upload the files the word is missing.
My text boxes are graphic text boxes and not html and most graphic items are combined.
Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve frankly had it for well over a year, but I’ve always been able to figure out how to work around the bug. This time I can’t figure out a way.
Are you seeing this in the layout (design) view in Freeway, or are you seeing it in the published site (in a browser)?

I understand the tradeoff and am comfortable with it. I really do. I’ve been at this for some time and this is a very specific use case.
Regardless, however, this seems to be a bug, correct? What might be my options here? I could change it to html text, but I’d lose the font consistency (assuming that would work anyway).
I’ve never seen this happen in a page before, not in graphic or html text. Not sure where it’s coming from. You may want to package up a copy of the file and send it to support(a)softpress.com for forensic analysis. When you do, cut the document down to just the smallest possible thing (one page?) that will show the problem. Include an explanation of what you’re seeing in the body of your message.
Before you do that, try changing to a different font, and see if the problem follows along or not.

Thanks Walter. That is already in process, but I thought I’d check here, too.
I’ve tried many fonts. Switching the text to html resolved the problem in the one case I tried it, but now the fonts don’t match. I may have to live with that and let the different fonts become a “feature.”
Having the same problem, first word of an HTML text paragraph “drops” like subscript but font doesn’t change size. Fixed on a redraw, but always reappears. Maddeningly frustrating.
