Unfortunately I am not able to get the text scrolling option to work. I have not been able to find any info or directions as to how this all works. When choosing the scrolling option in the inspector the function simply does not work. Please advise how I can get this to work. Thanks.

Can you post a link to an online example outlining what you are expecting/hoping to happen.
At the moment this is a bit vague.

One of the pages is located here.

I would like to scroll that center html box so as to have a smaller window. as such now the page expands the entire window even when the “scroll” option is selected.
thanks.

Have I ever told somebody or other that I dislike those scroll in scroll stuff? But uuups, this is not dedicated to give personal opinions.
Try this:
Reduce the height (Fixed) of your center textbox to your liking. So a portion of your text is now hidden, correct?
With this box still selected, choose in inspector the overflow to “auto” and the scrollbar should appear in Browser (Freeway only shows that lil x).
Out of mind so not bullet-proof (maybe set to “scroll” is better?) No I don’t think.

Thomas,
Thanks for the assistance. I have preformed the above instructions, and the box does reduce and show the small “x” at the bottom right of the box however when viewing the page, the center box continues to extend all the way down to the bottom of the page thus showing the entire box contents.

What’s the height-setting of this box?
It should be fixed with a certain value.

I guess that you need to apply the height of this box to the master page (but only a guess).
Adding the height property in browser let the thing work as expected:

Setting Overflow to Scroll should do it.

David,
My apologies but I’m new with this software and not understand what you mean by “adding the height property in browser view”. Perhaps step by step? Thanks for your patience.

Sorry my mistake.
I just ran the scenario as it should be which is possible in a browser (temporally).
In your Freeway doc you should try first David’s suggestion to change from “auto” to “scroll” and see if this fixes the problem.

David,
Thanks again for the support. Unfortunately I simply cannot get the scroll function to work at all. I have even gone as far as starting a new site and even starting from scratch does not cause this option to function at all.
This tells me either the software has a bug or I simply am doing something wrong in setting up the scrolling option, which leaves me to the question. Do you have a step by step instructions anywhere on how to set up the scroll option?
So far I have not been able to find any further support on this feature.
Thanks again,
Rick
