[Pro] Text size

Can anyone help me with text size in html, when i preview or publish pages with a reasonable amount of text the text seems to squash close together leaving a lot of space at the bottom of the item’s frame.

Can you post a link to a problem page.

What method are you using to size text pixels, ems or relative ie -1, -2 or small, large etc. Are you setting a leading?

Hi David

Here is a link Domain Registered

The text in the main text box fills the frame in the layout page but as you can probably see it shuffles up after publish or in preview.

There is no leading set and teh text is set at 14px. When i look at the freeway templates this problem does not occur, so it must something i am doing or a setting - i couldnt find anything different though when i cross-checked between the template and my page though?

Thanks in advance, Jamie

I think that your biggest problem on this page is that you are using HelveticaNeue-Light - a font that is not going to be available to most of your viewers.

Change to one of the websafe fonts (Verdana, Arial, Georgia etc.) or try the Caxton action from Paul Dunning http://www.actionsforge.com/projects/view/103-caxton

You also have a style52 applied to that text that has a line-height of 1

That is not helping. Remove that style from the text and see how it looks then.

Thanks David, appreciate it. The problem occurs with other fonts too so i don think that is the main problem, the line height may be the issue, where do i adjust that?

Thanks again.

Remove that style (style52) from the text and see how it looks then.

Select all the text - Style>Remove Styling

Then reapply the style you want - or if you have set up a p tag or a body style then these should be applied automatically.
