[Pro] That IE6 thing again

Hi all

I’ve got a client complaining.

http://www.mandmkent.co.uk/beta/adm/

When the client views on their creaking version of IE6, the navigation strip at the foot of the page, set as inline in the main text div, displays randomly in various places on different pages.

Equally, the main text overflows the right-side inline boxes in a kind of random fashion.

Obviously, viewed in decent modern browsers, there’s no issue, but I’m wondering just how far I need to jump through hoops to placate this client. What’s the most obvious fix that will allow everything to work nicely in IE6 but still look the way I want it?

Thanks.

Did you turn on IE6/7 compatibility?
I think it’s a problem with a floating div. For IE6 it needs to be displayed inline.

Not sure I turned it off!

I’ll have to check tomorrow now, but it’s definitely a problem with
the way IE6 handles the DIVs.

wishes hard for IE6 to self-destruct
