[Pro] Title of Image in Inspector

Hello,

Can I change the ‘title’ of an image in the Graphic Item inspector palette without causing Freeway to be unable to link/find to the originally named image in the media folder? Does it cause any problems if you rename the title?

I’m realizing that I would like my images to have more descriptive names and I don’t want to rename and re-import all of them if I don’t have to.

Thanks again and again! I love this forum!

You certainly can - Freeway uses the file name on import so that it has an unique name to distinguish it from others on the page but there is no reason that you have to stick with FW’s suggestion.

Changing it will not affect the link to the original image.

Bear in mind that if you have your original images with descriptive names then these will be brought in automatically for you.

Great - Thanks David!

I know I’m going backwards with renaming it after importing but this being my first site I’m learning as I go. I’ll know a lot more tricks with my next one.

Is the title of an image something that Google and other SE’s pick up when you do a search?

Thanks again!
