Hello,

Is it possible to track the number of times a .pdf has been downloaded ?

I’ve Google analytics on the site in question, can that be utilized in any way ?

thanks,

If you’re using Google Analytics, simply extend the link to the file
in question, as explained on this page:

http://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55529

Select the link (or image with the link) in the Freeway interface, and
then press Apple-K to open the Hyperlink dialog. Press the Extended
button, then New, and enter onclick in the Name field and everything
inside the double-quotes on the page linked above (but not the quotes
itself).

Note that you have to make up a separate key for each thing you wish
to track, so if you had more than one map on your page (as in their
example) you would key one item with downloads/map1 and another with
downloads/map2 and so forth.

When you look at your statistics in GA, you will see each click as if
it was a visit to whatever you entered as the key.
