[Pro] Transferring a project from an old Mac Pro to my new iMac

So I did a Time Capsule back up to a hard drive and imported the files to my new iMac (Yosemite from Lion 10.7.5). Where do I find my files from the website I created in Freeway 6 from my macbook pro on my iMac? Do I have to start from scratch?? I have to update the site for my client. I can’t even open up the project on the old computer! It can’t find it!!Did the back up screw everything up! HELP

Migrating files from 1 Mac to another is best done with Migration Assistant - that way the files end up in exactly the same place in the corresponding Drive.

If you haven’t done that and still have the old mac running then you can open the FW file on the old Mac and do a File>Save Archive. The subsequent Archive folder will contain all of the building blocks (images etc.) that you used to construct the site.

I can’t even open up the project on the old computer!

You are looking for a .freeway file - do a Finder search for that. Even if you dont remember the actual name of the FW file a search should find all files ending with .freeway
