[Pro] Transition FX Action

I have been following the video on the above subject and seem to have a problem. I have imported one of the Freeway Demo Files (film button) and when clicking on Window/Actions I get the message 'The “Transition FX” action can only be applied to layer or in-flow items. I followed the instructions exactly but keep getting the same message. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are looking at your FW page what colour is the bounding box of the item that you are trying to apply the FX action to? (Make sure that you have View>Outlines selected in the View menu.

If the bounding box is blue then your item is NOT a layer - you can change this by checking the Layer box in the Inspector.

Thanks for your answer. The box was (is) a light grey colour. When I clicked on the layer box nothing seemed to change but it now works.
