[Pro] Two rollovers

Hello Panel. I’m pushing the boundaries again …

This page has thumbnails across the bottom. Each thumbnail has two rollovers attached (using Rollover60). Mouseover a thumbnail displays a full window photo with text. (This covers the thumbnails, but invisible links on top continue to work.) So far so good. Now I want to click the thumbnail to make the text disappear. It does … but then won’t reappear again. I thought using the rollover ‘Restore’ command would solve this, but I seem to have introduced a complication!

PS Sorry, I sent that one off prematurely. I’d be grateful for any help on this. Thanks, Paul

PPS I can use the ‘Toggle’ option for the text rollover. This will restore each text, but requires another click to achieve it. I think most people would just move the mouse away from the thumbnail and expect things to work as from the beginning … Paul

To me this looks very messy - why do you have the larger images obscuring the thumbs?

It just looks wrong!

I think that your layout would be easier to manage if the thumbs stayed in view.

David, the layout has evolved as I have produced websites on cathedrals. I started with exposed thumbnails, but wanted the large photos as big as possible. Then I went to full sized photos with no thumbnails, but simple arrow navigation. Since then I have realized that thumbnails give quicker and easier navigation. So the present format combines large photos and quick navigation!

But you cant see them when the big picture appears!

Come on David, you only have to slide the cursor off the ‘thumbnail’, and you’d have to do that anyway …

My point still stands - if you want quicker, easier navigation then the thumbs should be visible at all times.

But other users/visitors may disagree.

How is it on iOS?

OK David, I’ll take a hint and do it another way. But you didn’t answer my original question!! Paul

Now I want to click the thumbnail to make the text disappear. It does … but then won’t reappear again.

On an individual basis you would use Toggle on the Caption to get this but it gets complicated when there is more than one Image/Caption as it will toggle when another event is triggered on another thumb.

And what is worse is that on iOS with no mouseover event it gets even more complicated
