pro - unerlined text when mouse on it

hello walt
i finally achieved to built my 1rst website (www.37-2.com) and I’m pretty
proud of it
I’m now doing my 2nd one for my husband photographer, and I encounter a
problem with a stupid thing i’ve already managed before.
Here it is :
I write an HTML text, then I give it a link to a new window (apple K)
I select the settings : underlined when you pass your mouse over it, and/or
you click on it
but when i preview it, it stays underlined all the time, not only when i go
over it with the mouse
I suppose there’s something to do with the styles, but i can’t solve the
problem
can you help me?
thank you thank you
francesca

If you look in the inspector you will see an underlined U next to your link settings http://www.deltadzine.net/test/textrollover.html

Clicking on this toggles the different settings - it is often difficult to see exactly which selection has been chosen without looking at the previewed page.

Standard is underlined, 1 click is no underline but try it while you look at your link.

thank you dave, i knew this part : my problem is that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DESBALE THE UNDELRINE. It stays underlined even if i have chosen the 4 parameters as in your table (normal, hover, actif, etc). As soon as I give a word the command “link to a new page”, this word becomes bleu (ok) and underlined. It’s not visible until when I preview in Firefox. And there’s no way to modify it. Is it a style default parameter maybe? in this case, how to find where I can modify it? thank you thank you

How are you applying your link styles as there are several ways.

1 As a page wide setting - nothing selected on the page in the inspector click the paintbrush icon Link settings below

2 As an item setting - click on the containing HTML box then the Paintbrush in the inspector and Link settings below

3 Text Link Style action - select your container and apply the action and change settings there.

it was the page settings which were “all underlined” so that i couldn’t change anything from the item inspector… thank you so much for your answer! francesca
