No docs for what I’m suggesting
You first have to be comfortable tweaking CSS in it’s native text - this is
not like trying to affect how FWP creates its CSS. I use Coda 2 for this,
but really any plain text editor will work… TextMate is free and can do
this.
Assuming that you export from Exhibeo for Freeway Pro, then import the
Exhibeo file into FWP with the Exhibeo Import action, then the “basics”
goes something like this:
First, give the item that the import action creates in your FWP file a
short but very specific name/id like “slider”
When you generate your html files, FWP puts the CSS (and the javascript JS)
for the Exhibeo presentation in the Resources folder. You can open it from
there into your text editor and see the styles. You can also edit them,
save that CSS file, then refresh your browser. This is where it really pays
off to be comfortable with CSS. Most of the style rules you want to affect
will likely be towards the end of the file.
This approach can help you to work out how to visually adjust the
presentation as seen in the browser. The problem is that Freeway will now
see that file as changed outside of Freeway and rewrite the original CSS
file with version numbers at the end and changing the internal links –
then you find yourself trying to fix a number of problems without causing
more. To avoid this, when you have to republish your FWP file, first
delete the slide-styles.css file from the Resources folder (or just delete
all the folder contents). Otherwise you will have to delete the exhibeo
import, republish, then reimport. Believe me, a pain.
You may be asking by now, how can we edit the CSS and NOT have Freeway try
to overwrite it or replace it? That’s because the real editing goes on in
a different place. This step is merely how I learned how to manipulate
Exhibeo’s appearance in the FWP environment and I think is good for others
following this path, though I can totally see how smarter people than me
could connect the dots more efficiently.
In the Finder, locate the file Exhibeo exported file and right-click
(control-click) on it and select “Show Package Contents”. Inside, you will
find a CSS file - this one generated by Exhibeo. Copy the CSS file to
another location to keep it safe in case you need to revert it, then go
ahead and open the CSS file in the Export package.
It will seem very familiar, almost exactly as the Resources CSS file…
except there is no mention of the import action item name/id we made in
Freeway Pro. This is because FWP modifies the CSS file’s selector names
with the item name/id we create for it and this file exists before that
step. You don’t have to do anything except recognize that if the rule you
are looking to change is for
#slider_exibid figcaption h1
Then you need to look for
exibid figcaption h1
From this point, you can make edits to any property of any rule, or even
add rules. When you reach a point where you want to test those changes
(and I highly recommend SMALL increments to keep from getting too far ahead
of yourself) simply save the CSS file. Switch back to FWP and open the menu
Edit > Resources. FWP may say everything is up to date, but it is not.
Choose “Update All” then exit the dialog and choose menu Page > Force
Republish. Then republish and refresh your browser view. You can go
back-and-forth between apps, remembering to save the CSS file first, and to
force FWP to update resources and republish them before refreshing your
browser.
THAT’S the easy instructions. They require that you be comfortable editing
CSS, careful following the technique, and especially able to deal with
difficulties on your own. This is as far as I can lead you (or anyone else)
with this… if you get into trouble you will have to find a way through it.
Work through it, and you will have earned respect and a new perspective on
what you can do
Best of luck,

seem to find it
