[Pro] Unwanted iFrame scroll bar in Safari

On this site http://www.jcosmont.com I have photo albums in iFrames accessed from the menu items ‘portfolios’,‘voyage’ ‘couleur’. When I visit one of the other non iFrame pages then return to any album I am getting (in Safari but not FF, Opera or Chrome) an unnecessary vertical scroll bar. It goes away when I visit any other album or refresh the page. The iFrame is set to no scroll. Can anyone shed light on this oddity?

Hi again

The problem remains although less consistently then last night. A scroll bar appears on the iFrame at random after visiting non-iFrame pages and on various machines (Intel Mac, MacBook Pro, the clients iMac G5) Has anyone come across this issue before?

Thanks Richard

What happens when the iFrame’s height is set larger?

Also are you serving alternate content for iOS users?

I did try setting the frame bigger and am going to go back this idea this morning as it did seem to work - except that the thumbnails go off the bottom of the screen especially on a lap top. It is probably a question of fine tuning.

For iOS I have to face up to this. Fotoplayer in theory does show up in alternative form on an iPhone/Pad - but not on my iPhone! I am starting to search for alternatives to flash based albums and if anyone knows of a good one I would love to hear about it. What is good about the system on this site is that the client is able to edit the albums himself via the Jalbum application which has a FTP uploader built in. He uploads to a folder on his serveur which I link to with the iFrame. (Would be nice if Softpress could do something similar with the Showcase application and so allow uploads of new pictures by web owners.)
