On the title page of this site, a row of thumbnails sits below the main photo. In Freeway there is little space between the thumbnails and the main photo; in Safari there is rather more. How can I eliminate this extra space?

If any spacing changes on your right column, or if the text is enlarged by the browser, the thumbnails move down creating more space above them.
I would fit the thumbnails under the big pic only and let the right column grow as needed.
So, you can either enlarge the big pic or make the thumbnails smaller the the thumbnails line up directly under the big image.

The thumbnails are not all the same height as well, and even the positioning shifts when hitting the arrows. Is this really set up in tables, or just not CSS positioned?
