I want to keep FW5.5 for a while until I am sure that all my sites update to 6 without a problem. I have renamed the FW5 app and downloaded and installed FW6. I have downloaded the new actions that I need, if I click to install them will they find FW6 and not FW5 ?

I would manually install the Actions that you want to ensure are placed in one Actions folder or another. At least while you are in this transition period, stay away from magic installation methods. Open up your Library folder, and drag Application Support/Freeway 5 and Application Support/Freeway Pro into the sidebar of a Finder window to create shortcuts. Then you can simply drag any new acquisitions into the Actions folder within each of those.

I have since noticed that both the actions that I need are 5.5 compatible anyway but will do as you suggest.
