[Pro] Upload issue

Using 5.5.1 for a new site that will have a large .mp4 file. The preview works fine, and so does the browser preview. But when I go to upload the page, Freeway cannot complete it. I can FTP the file using Transmit, but I would prefer upload through Freeway. I’ve tried Passive and all the other flavors. Is this a bug or does someone have some insight to share?

Thats pretty large to include in any site.

Have you checked the box that says Save Log in the upload dialogue box. Try that and see what it says - bet there is a timeout error in there.

Once you have that log then I am sure that support(at)softpress.com would like to see it.

I tried again and did check the Save Log box, but I cannot find this this file to pass it along. There’s nothing in the Freeway documentation about where to find it.

As for the file size, in terms of downloading, it’s not a problem so far. I used the new Episode 6 software to encode the mp4 file with a fairly low data rate, and for the users who I’ve asked to test the page, there are no reports of problems so far. But I had to use the old version of GoLive (!) to recreate the page, and then I uploaded it with Transmit. I’d much rather use Freeway, it’s my favorite website software.
