When I attempt to “publish” my site using v5.5, it hangs and i have to “force quit” it. When I use v5.4, I have no problems at all. I use the same “publish” settings for both.
Any suggestions or ideas as to why this is happening ?

I use the setting “passive”, has for the other two it does not work for me. What I do not like the long duration of the upload, I hope it is fixed now with the final version.

Hi Arthur… The FINAL version IS the version I’m having this problem with unfortunately… 
I’ve had to go back to v5.4 to make my updates…

Hi Mike,
Try setting the FTP Mode to Passive. We’re finding that some people are getting a hang on automatic mode, though this should only last for 45 seconds before stopping, at which point changing the option to Passive should work.

Hi Joe… Thanks for the response…
I had the FTP Mode set TO “passive” - which wasn’t working… I just changed it to “automatic” just to see what would happen and it worked !!
Not sure why but at least I can update my site now using v5.5. Now on to bigger and better things using 5.5 !!!
