Are you attaching a Flash file to the document itself already? FW would only try and duplicate it if it already existed.
You obviously wouldn’t need more than one copy, however I suggest using SWFObject instead of FW_Object since it’s more browser compatible and has been updated.
A greater question is why is the Page Action version called ‘Upload Stuff’ and the Item Action version is called ‘Upload Extra Resources.’ Shouldn’t they be the same?

I was looking at this last night I can see that Freeway is altering
the file name even when the the application hasn’t needed to create
the FW_Object.js file. I suspect that somehow Freeway assumes that
this file name as is in use regardless of if it has been used before
or not.

This is because I wrote Upload Stuff as a page action and then
Softpress created the Upload Extra Resources a while later and decided
to make it item based.
Both actions do almost exactly the same thing and I would imagine that
they both do it in the same way too.

Tim.

I was sort of assuming - maybe incorrectly that ‘FW_Object.js’ was maybe some sort of ‘reserved’ name.
I think the easiest way to avoid a conflict is to rename FW_Object.js to something else.
