basically, after designing the slideshow according to the templates on the web galleries i export it and it creates a folder with other files. then i drag the gallery.swf file to the browser so that i get the path i have to tell the iFrame Action where to find the gallery. It’s quite complicated but somehow i managed to do it. when i preview in the browser it works fine.
just sorted the problem by changing the FTP mode to passive and it went. yay…
but still having problems. now the site is online but it doesn’t have the slideshow!! funny huh!?

Sounds like you are getting the path to the locally hosted swf not the version on the server.
You need to use an external link in the iframe action ie URL: Other then choose the External Tab and put in the path to where the files are on the server - not the files on your Mac! You need to upload the LR created files to your server.
thanks very much. looks like i’m getting there. I’ve uploaded the gallery from LR to the server but i’m not getting the URL: from there. Don’t know how to do it.
help please!
ah ha…just found out that if i type in the directory name separated by / it shows the gallery on the site. Sorry i’m new to it so it’s fun to discover that stuff.
