[Pro] uploading the site

hi there,

can anyone help about this? i can’t get to upload the website for some reason. i’m getting the message:

“cannot complete upload because an error occurred sending network data”.

i’m thinking that it might be because of the flash slideshow that i embedded from lightroom 3.
any thoughts?

thanks…

Unlikely - but remove it and try again.

How did you ‘embed’ the LR slideshow?

And are you using FW to upload?

basically, after designing the slideshow according to the templates on the web galleries i export it and it creates a folder with other files. then i drag the gallery.swf file to the browser so that i get the path i have to tell the iFrame Action where to find the gallery. It’s quite complicated but somehow i managed to do it. when i preview in the browser it works fine.

At what point in the upload do you get the error?

While uploading FW will say which page ie Comparing Files, Uploading ‘whatever.html’

Sounds like you are getting the path to the locally hosted swf not the version on the server.

You need to use an external link in the iframe action ie URL: Other then choose the External Tab and put in the path to where the files are on the server - not the files on your Mac! You need to upload the LR created files to your server.
