I’ve been trying make to a site iphone/ipad compatible by attempting to replace a flash banner with one generated by Google Swiffy’s SWF to HTML 5 conversion service.
The resulting HTML 5 generated file opens and plays perfectly in Safari, but how do I get this work in Freeway 5.6 Pro?, I’ve tried to cut and paste the HTML 5 code into a HTML Markup field but this results in a black empty space, I’ve also tried pasting it into an HTML item to similar effect.
Convert your SWFs as you would normally using the Swiffy service and apply the Swiffy Action to your page in Freeway. Using the Actions palette select the HTML file that Swiffy created and when published the Action will chop this about and integrate it into your page.
I’m planning on adding a Flash detection feature in the Action at some point so that it can serve up either the Flash (if the plug-in is installed) or the Swiffy HTML 5 content.
Regards,
Tim.

Hi Tim, thanks for the response, I followed the instructions as you prescribed, this time it results in an empty space where the banner should be, any clues?
