How do Link showcase folders to botton links in freeway? I went through the steps of adding the pictures but getting stuck on the next step to view through the web site
Then with the action item selected you set the parameters in the action palette - this includes the location of the Showcase folder (Gallery File) Type of Gallery, Theme etc.
Thanks DAve. But I’m trying to make a photo albums to view on my web page how do I put them to each button so for a example. In my gallery. Kids,Models etc. How do you put them with the buttons after making the photo album this is what has me stumped. I have version 5.6.6
I just read the version from the apple app store is a little different. But what I’m trying to do is create a photo gallery of different links. after making a gallery page in showcase how do I connect them so you can click on each like to view on the web page?
What do you mean by ‘a photo gallery of different links’
A gallery consists of pictures.
after making a gallery page in showcase how do I connect them so you can click on each like
You create a Gallery in Showcase (which consists of a series of images).
You would use text or graphic links to link to each separate Gallery or FW Gallery page. You can have several FW Showcase galleries on each page or you can put them on different pages.
This is how I have it set up

I know it looks confusing when I read the manual this is how far i got for something that is suppost to be so easy
It should be as simple as choosing Capture>Selection from the Grab menu.
This thens shows you a cursor/pointer with which you ‘draw’ a selection around the area you wish to capture holding the mouse button down. When you release the mouse button it takes the screenshot which you can then Save.
If what you are trying to do is create a link from your Navigation to a page which has a Gallery on it then you do the following.
Make a new page using Page>New Pages give it a name eg. ‘kids portraits’, place your Showcase action on that page and set the parameters to point to the Showcase gallery file that you created for the kids portraits.
Now select the text of your navigation ‘kids portraits’ and use the Link Picker at the bottom of the FW window (just right of the sidebar in the base line) - it looks like a little Globe. Click on the Globe and it will give you a list of all the Pages in your FW document. select the Page you want to link to ie ‘kids portraits’
You can do the same thing if your Navigation item (button) is a graphic item. Select the graphic and then use the Link Picker to select the page you want to link to.
If you already have a kids portraits page then you can ignore the create a new page step.
The best way to set this up is to have your navigation menu on your Master page and use the same Master for all the child pages. This way if you update/add links on the menu on the Master you update all the child pages.
