No it isn’t. The content is stored in simple (more or less) text-files and stripped in your source code, so it is detectable by any search engine.
One step further I once enclosed the sphider search engine to have a search facility crawling my pages “including webyep content” and it really works great.
The latest WebYep Action comes with an additional page-action called SEO. So even new page instances can be filled with page-title, description and keywords.
There is only one thing that WY does not cover yet:
Hi Scott
As Thomas has indicated, and as far as I know the webyep content isn’t invisible to search engines.
I also have done some testing and like Thomas I haven’t found a issue with the content.
kind regards max
I’m familiar and impressed with the Wordpress structure for blogs
but now see there’s a potential for building CMS elements into a
Freeway page.
Hi Scott,
For future reference, if at some point you’re again considering
Wordpress then I think you should also look at MODx <http://modx.com/
. WP has a lot going for it but it is far from designer-friendly
when it comes to modifying templates. I don’t think I’m alone when I
say it’s a convoluted mess.
and MojoMotor http://mojomotor.com/. I seem to be the only one
around here suggesting these as viable options alongside WebYep and
Pulse. After all, if you’re actually considering Wordpress and FW then
either of these last two are certainly less of an undertaking than WP.
is it possible to build a site where members can log into there own profile pages and upload documents.
also they can upload videos they have made onto their page etc.
other clients can post briefs for jobs, similar to people per hour in FCP?
Yes, but not just using Freeway. What you describe will require a database and an application server of some sort to run the business logic. You could use the Freeway pages as a layout to drive the look and feel, but you would need a programmer, a programming language like PHP or Ruby, and an application server like Rails or one of its many clones to do the actual thinking about who can do what, where, and how much.
By the way, what is the FCP you refer to here? The only FCP I know is Final Cut Pro.

Drupal has a very simple permissions model, extensible with plugins, but it’s not really meant for what you describe without a lot of hacking. You would need something that was designed around the idea of multi-tenant applications, and that’s not usually an off-the-rack kind of thing.
