I have read a number of posts concerning problems with the verification link, but as yet have found no answer. Basically, I have done it so that the Freeway settings upload to Mals with no problem… but if I test the cart I get an “ERROR: Link verification failed.” message.
For the life of me I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I notice there is a difference generating the link in Mals to the documentation, whereby I now get a preview of a cart setup with a dialogue box below saying ‘hash’… if I click ‘go’, it generates a load of text (which I have presumed is what I need to add in Freeway as the link verification no.??) But still get the error message.
Hi Jon,
Are you using my Mals actions or the Freeway Shop ones? I ask because
my action had a problem with hash verification a while ago when using
multi-price select lists where sometimes these just failed to validate
correctly.
The issue was finally resolved by Mal Stewart himself (from Mals- e.com). More details here; FreewayActions.com | Latest News
Feel free to get back in touch with me either directly or via the web
site (FreewayActions.com | Contact) with your
action version number and if you can a sample Freeway file
demonstrating the issue and I’ll take a closer look.
Thanks,
Tim.
