Still seeing ‘.’ (full stops) in your file names - however I suspect that the problem may be that your Server is not set to recognise the ogv mime type.
First stop should be to ask your hosting provider and/or look in your cPanel for support there.
You can also add the mime type in an .htaccess file but that is a bit more complicated/nerdy.
I checked my cpanel and everything is okay with that. I’d really like to make this work. Can you tell me how to add an .htaccess file or is there some other option I could try?
I am wondering why this is not working since I seem to have done everything right. Is this generally a problem with freeway pro or have other users had success with this?
No, it’s not. Most likely the issue is that your server is not sending the correct content-type (MIME) header along with the file. You said you checked your cPanel and “everything was right”. Did you specifically see the MIME-type settings in your Apache server preferences? Was there a setting for the .ogv file-type extension, with the content-type: video/ogg in it?
To answer your other question, this has nothing to do with Freeway. Anyone on your server, no matter how they created their HTML files, would have the same problem.

So the video plays fine when I publish to the firefox browser on my desktop. Could it be that I’m publishing it to a folder on my cpanel?
This video plays fine in firefox on a pc — it just does not work on my mac. I’m sorry to be so new at all of this, but if you could tell me exactly what I need to do with my files, I’d appreciate it!
