[Pro] Video preview page loads really slow

Having terrible problems with this page, can anyone help? I want this page to load fast like the youtube home page which has many little previews like this but loads really fast! I am such a novice I don’t know where to look for the problem. Any Freeway wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

How strange! I don’t know what I’ve done wrong, it loads right from the link on freewaytalk above your post, I just clicked it and it launched the page, it just takes forever. Others I’ve given that link to can see it as well. I have no idea why it loads so slowly and why you are getting an error. html mysteries are ones I am ill equipped to deal with. Anyway, thanks for trying…

What I am getting is an untrusted page error:

Is there a particular reason that this page is at an https address - it may be that which is the cause of your problems.

Wow, I got that message too but just ignored it. It’s loaded up on the client’s website inside his regular website just for previewing.

I’m not sure what all this means, it’s hosted at a company I’ve been with for years and so has the client.

I 'm not sure what I should do…

Dave, you are talking way above my head! I just made a regular freeway website, I don’t know why it would have https (whatever that means). Is it because it’s inside another web address? Because of all the youtube videos? Here’s the home page of that site:

https://209.216.249.199:8443/sitepreview/http/hawaiiguide2go.com/

if it might offer a clue.

An https address is used to protect traffic between the user, his browser and the website - such as in a banking site.

Because you have an https address and you are hosting media from an insecure site (youtube) this may cause loading issues.

So back to the question - why are you using an https address?

Normally you would only need it for a particular page like a payment processor page or credit card submission - not for the whole site.

I don’t know why, I didn’t do it on purpose. In the doc set-up page I just have http://, it must have happened on the server, I’ll have to call them Monday to find out. Maybe it’s their protocol or some secret server stuff but I did not use https at all. Maybe because it’s going through another site? I’m sorry I can’t answer your questions…
