[Pro] Vimeo not centered in Scripty Lightbox

Hi Freeway People,

Can anyone guide me. I created a ScriptyLighbox Action on my home page and have that linked to another page that has a “PHP Make Insert Page”. Inside of that is my embedded Vimeo code.

But when I preview in the browser, the Vimeo video is not centered in the lightbox.

Also, if I close out of the Lightbox, the audio of Vimeo keeps playing!

Anyone have these issues and have a fix?

Thanks so much in advance.

Try this. Instead of putting the Vimeo on a separate page in your site, just use the External tab of the Hyperlink dialog to put the URL of the vimeo player in the link from your thumbnail graphic. That should trigger the built-in iframe in ScriptyLightbox, rather than the div that gets created when you link to a local page fragment. This works perfectly with YouTube, no idea (as in haven’t tried it yet) about Vimeo, but there should be a similar way to work it out with that service.

Hi Walter,

Thank you so much for replying to my post. Your advice works great. If I can ask one more question. The vimeo opens up and looks good. There is one thing which I would love to correct.

When the ScriptyLightbox opens up, it opens to be the size of whatever my browser is. In the ScriptyLighbox action dialogue box, I have Media Width and Length set to 400x225, which is the size of the Vimeo embed code. (Even in the Vimeo embed code it says 400x225.) Am I doing something wrong? Can the ScriptyLightbox open to that size instead of the size of whatever the browser is at the time? I am going crazy trying to figure it out.

I feel so close. If I can get this to work, I can purchase this in confidence and build my website.

Thanks in advance.
