Is there a way to see the progress of an individual file as it is being uploaded? I have another question posted in another thread about the problem of why Freeway uploads files that are already on the server. Meantime, it is frustrating to watch a static progress bar which sits motionless as a large file is being uploaded but there is no indication as to where it is at or how long it will be before it is finished.
There’s nothing like that in Freeway at the moment, but there are other SFTP applications that do show this progress. One thing to note – not every server responds with the right sort of information to make this feature possible. I can recall at least two servers in my past that would show the indeterminate (barber-pole) progress in any application I used to upload to them, simply because they did not report the progress back, only the “all done, thanks” at the end.
