[Pro] WebFonts Problem on Mac

Hi!!

I’m trying to add in my web some webfonts from here:
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface

As I could see, all of them are truetype.

So I download a couple, activate them in my Mac and they are seen by Indesign, Photoshop, TextEdit… But not in Freeway!!!

Anyone knows why?

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!!

Thank you.

Of course, I restarted FW a hundred of times… Also my system, my font manager, even the washing machine!!
No, it’s no the problem.

Converting the downloaded fonts with Transtype from Windows TTF to Mac OS TTF do the job. Right now I’m doing some tests with it in my server.

The issue seems to be related to some permissions applied in Windows TTF’s that preserves FW to show these fonts in it’s menus.

But, why?!

Sorry about the typo in my first post.

I have not yet experienced the same problem with TTF fonts in FW. Is the font showing up in the regular view and in the preview. Also what happens when you view the site in a browser.

What font did you download?

See:
http://www.bitbotbox.com/pruebas/index.html

The font I’d used here is Bergamo converted with Transtype from Win TTF to Mac TTF.

If I try to use any font directly downloaded from FontSquirrell, I can activate them in Suitcase:

…Use them with Indesign (and all other apps):

…But they doesn’t like to show up in Freeway Pro menus:

Thanks!

Sorry about all my possible typos… My english level is too basic!

Ugo I don’t think you are doing anything wrong I am having the exact same problems. I have concluded that the problem lies with Freeway and the way it handles fonts. I think it is something Softpress will have to resolve, so Joe if you are reading this any chance of a fix?

This is correct, we’ve made a fix internally which should be available in an upcoming minor release.

Wait no more. The latest version, available here, contains the fix for FontSquirrel fonts:

Enjoy!
