[Pro] webyep gallery spacing

The page below shows a page containing two ways of creating galleries that I’m trying to decide between. The top one is created using individual webyep image action elements, which line up better but are more of a pain to populate.

The bottom gallery is created using the webyep gallery action. This is easier to populate but I don’t how to get the individual thumbnails to equally space both horizontally and vertically.

Any suggestions?

Hi Neil, as in this example here, I had to crop all of the illustrations to squares to make sure it all looked even on screen.

It would be nice if Max’s WY gallery action (or image action) could have the option of zooming the thumbnails in their boxes rather than being constrained by either height or width.

Thanks Trev

Which action have you used there? (nice illusts BTW!) If the gallery action, how did you get the vertical spacing?

I’m aware that it can be done with stylesheets and layers, but I’m not that good at the background stuff. It’s the client that is going to be populating this too, so I don’t think I can say ‘crop all your pics to this ratio…’

Thanks Neil, I think I just set the various settings for thumbnail width, height and cell width for the gallery action, and more by luck than good judgement they came out like the example.

No coding was hurt in the making of the site - rest assured I would have butchered it! Sorry, can’t be any more help.

Clients and cropping is one problem I’m having at the moment also…
