Hi.
I have several webyep images that link to external urls. I would prefer to have them open in a new window rather than leave the site. I can’t see a way to do this in the webyep image dialogue box. The client will no doubt change the URLS at some point to so I don’t think I can do it through Freeway.
I am using 5.5 and plan on upgrading to 6 as soon as this site is done.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hi Bob
the way to do this is apply the WebYep-cofig action to your top (site folder) in your site panel and
then click on the ‘Access optional advanced settings’
then if you look down at the extended choices you will see the new windows URL’s drop down just set that to true. This will then set any link from a a long text box or an image link to open a new window
kind regards max
I forgot to say… once you have done that and set your other parameters you will the need to write the file by clicking on the Write config file button located at the bottom and replace your existing config file within the webyep system folder
Hi Max. Thanks for your help. Where can I find the WebYep-cofig action?
I can’t see it listed under the WebYep action items.
(This site is on pro 5.5 still and webyep version 3.1).
Hi Max, I have also been looking to do this but think I only have web yep actions 3a installed. Could I ask you to send me the latest download.
Cheers,
