[Pro] Webyep issue

Hi guys,

Question,

Try to integrate simple WebYep loop and have two issues:

  1. See first block of text, some text is displayed not correct, its dutch language with punctuation on it but Webyep places here a question mark?

  2. Downloaded latest version of Tiny MCE placed the folder (with subfolders) in the system/opt map but can’t get it to work (I see no editor)

After that tried CKE editor, here I get the editor screen but no submit or save button.

Do I mis something

Thx for your feedback

Erik

Hi Erik

the webyep config file creator acton is a folder action and creates the webyep config file for you.
instructions on what it can adjust is in the manual 3.4 on page 26 but the actual part your interested is on page 29 and below is the extract from the manual

Encoding
You can set this configuration variable to the HTML character set you are using in your web pages. It is normally recommended to match the WebYep encoding to Freeway’s own output. For example if your Freeway document is using UTF-8, then you can change the following configuration variable to match.
Please note: Setting an explicit encoding will also stop WebYep from converting special characters to HTML entities. If you wish not to set the encoding type choose ‘None’ from the drop-down

As for tinyMCE not working… I just checked the download link I posted earlier and popped it into the opt folder and it worked… so I dot know why your isn’t working.
How are you uploading it to your sever what ftp software are you using?

Thx for your help Max.

It all works fine now!

Removed all the old files and reinstalled the WebYep actions and WebYep system folder.
After that I used the WebYep Config file creator folder action and generate a new config file, replaced the old and after that it all works fine!

Very happy with your help!!

Grtz Erik
