I bought the WebYep actions a year ago but have just recently started using them. I’m finding it a steep learning curve, although that’s no doubt my fault.
A few questions.
• Can I add a picture to each WebYep Menu item?
• I’m finding the WebYep Menu’s ability to create new pages great. However, is there a way to set up a contact form on each page that takes in some of the information from the newly created page, i.e., a reference?
• Sometimes it seems to lag in the updates or deletes the user submitted info when I change the master page (not deleting anything or renaming). Is this normal?
• And finally, do I have to pay the full amount to update the actions to the latest version or is there an upgrade path?
what do you mean add a picture to each webyep menu? not sure what you are trying to do here.
A beter way to do this is for the menu page to point to a master contact form and on that form can be webyep items including text (hidden or seen) and because it’s come from a webyep menu it will automatically have you instances of the webytep text. if you aren’t sure how to do that just let me know.
It shouldn’t lag but obviously WebYep is doing quite a lot in the background but if there is a lag it should only be for a second, you shouldn’t be waiting for things to happen
Absolutely not… you or any one else wont have to pay for updates to the action suite what version are you running? (the version number should be in the bottom right of any of the action palettes).
I thought the WebYep action simplified integrated it into Freeway Pro? How steep of a learning curve are we talking?

if you want to do the simple things like edit text then you insert an action, name it and thats it… you will now be able to populate that text section via a browser.
If you wanted to create a webyep shopping cart via a dynamic menu, which lands on a page with tabs which is editable plus it has a search facility, plus some sort of link into a news page that populates your face book wall, then thats quite a lot more work and involves planing out carefully and quite a few webyep actions, but to amend normal items like: text, images, a gallery is fairly straight forward.
Hi Graeme
which version are you running? the only reason I ask is because the actionsforge is a little out. In other words 3.2 isn’t ready for the public so if you are running 3.1 then you have the latest complete version.
As for the menu not being able to delete, that sounds like a javascript issue with something else on the page… Can you give me a url or describe what other actions have been applied to the page
